Late-breaking news

Margaret Cho is going to be performing in LA next weekend (April 8-9).

It's amazing how I can think I'm on top of all the cool LA events like this, and then something totally sneaks up on me. I had no idea, and I would have missed it completely except that I went to see D.E.B.S. last Thursday (movie review later) and randomly happened across a flyer. Wacky! Well, I'm going out of town next weekend, so I won't see her, but at least this time I knew about it before the actual event (unlike the Michelle Tea reading), even if not much before.
